After the experience with my first long-term relationship, I felt out of touch with any sense of self-esteem or purpose. Ironically, I forgot the word "purpose" as I was typing this expose up and had to sit and think for which word means, "to have meaning and drive." I met a woman that I was all too eager to please and love, and because of her own emotional preoccupations had to understandably part with me. From then, I gladly would let women use me emotionally so I could taste what I was convinced I would never have.
